CPV Version 12.1 Latest updates
The following changes can be found in CPV One (opens new window) and CPV Lab (opens new window) latest version.
Campaigns List - redesign
The Campaigns List report is used to see a fast overview of your campaigns.
The report was changed to allow the following:
- all the campaign types are now displayed in the same table
- a filter by campaign type was added to filter the data easily
- More columns were added to the report
- A date range filter
- Filters by users to be able to filter the campaign by the users that have access to it (admin, editor, viewer)
Here you can find more details about the fields and functionaly of the new Campaigns page.
API integration with NewsBreak
This new integration will allow to get costs from NewsBreak so you can see all the information about your NewsBreak campaigns inside CPV Lab.
This new integration was added to the rest of integrations already available under API Integrations menu.
- To find out how to setup a NewsBreak Camapign and track it with CPV Lab or CPV One ad tracker, check this page.
API integrations - match campaigns
The new update will allow the campaigns for the traffic sources under API Integrations to be matched no matter what name they have.
The process works like this:
- Select the integration you have (for example an integration with Facebook Ads)
- Match the campaigns between Meta Ads and CPV tracker
- Save the matching
- That's it!
The cost will be syncronized for the campaigns you matched in this page.
This needs to be done every time you create a new campaign that you want to get costs for.
TIP
for Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Microsoft Advertising and NewsBreak Ads you need to match the campaigns you want to get syncronized.
New updates were added to Facebook and Google Ads costs synchronization for more accurate daily costs.
Quick tours
- Quick tours were created for you to easily explore the new API integrations pages.
- Search for the "Quick Tour" link and follow the instructions.
ShortUrl for campaigns
The ShortUrl option gives you the possibility to define a slug for your camapign. In this way, the format of the final tracking link you will get from CPV Lab | CPV One ad tracker will contain:
- the tracking custom domain
- the slug
- parameters from the traffic source (if they exist)
You can find more about how the Short URL works in CPV Lab here.
DrillDown export as Pivot Table
On the DrillDown page you now have 2 download buttons:
- dowload to CSV - where you will get all the data returned by the report in a csv file and create your own pivot table
- dowload to Pivot Table - where you will get the data in a file with Pivot table already applied
And here is an example of export to Pivot Table:
Traffic Insights
A new report to compare traffic sources is now available under "Sources" menu.
Traffic Insights is a report where each metric is calculated based on the traffic source and the time period selected.
Also, there is the option to filter the data by user (extremly useful if you are an admin and want to see how your team's campaigns are doing).
Bulk update offers for existing campaigns
On the Offer Management and Landing Page Management pages you can bulk upload a list of offers / landers.
With the new update, you can now update inside existing campaigns a list of multiple offers /landers by using the "bulk upload" feature.
Manage conversions
The Manage Conversions page was update to allow managing conversions for existing camapigns.
The following actions are possible:
- update conversions one by one (by inserting the subid and revenue)
- bulk update conversions by using a csv file
- remove conversions for an existing campaign (in case you want to remove testing conversions)
- send conversions to the traffic source via server to server postback
